I have a problem and it involves the snooze button. I am a chronic snoozer.
Chronic snoozer.
I set my alarm for 30-45 minutes before I need to get up so that I can SNOOZE.
I don't feel complete unless I've snoozed at least once if not twice. I have to steal back those 30 minutes.
It's bad. It has to stop. This morning I snoozed for 2 HOURS, 2 FREAKING HOURS.
Now I'm groggy, sluggish and the bags under my eyes are screaming look at me, I aged about 5 years this morning.
So I think its time that me and my snooze button part ways. For good.
I used to struggle with this bad! I would snooze for an hour! I hear it is not healthy and actually makes your more tired/groggy! I one day just had to suck it up and get out of bed and now that is my habit. No more snoozing!
ReplyDeleteI am a snoozer too...usually for about 20 minutes each morning.
ReplyDeleteI have found that when I just pop right out of bed the morning isn't all that different 20 mins earlier, now if I could just convince myself to do it everyday :-)
I'm the opposite. Until my husband left. Now I snooze all the time. I have no idea why though!
ReplyDeleteI'm the exact opposite of you! I've never snoozed because if I did, I wouldn't get out of bed!
ReplyDeleteUgh, I am the worst snoozer. I have no idea why I do this. The post-snooze sleep is not nearly as good as the pre-snooze sleep, yet I still can't break the habit. My husband is worse than I am. He'd snooze all day I fear if I didn't get him up!
ReplyDeleteI snooze too! At least 3 or 4 times! I just can't help it. I really think it's all the snoozing (barely falling in and out of sleep) that makes me even more tired than if I'd just gotten up the first time the alarm went off. Damn you Snooze Button!
ReplyDeleteTotally a snoozer. Usually for 30-40 minutes! But I always set my alarm for waaaay earlier than I need to get up, so I at least feel like I'm getting to sleep longer, even if I'm really not!
ReplyDeleteI am really bad with the snooze button too. At the least, I snooze 10 mins each day and it's usually 20. It feels like I'm getting so much extra rest, when in reality I'm really not.
ReplyDeleteAt least you have the power to snooze. I can't snooze because if I did, I would just turn off the alarm and go back to sleep for hours.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe your husband lets you get away with it! If I snooze more than once, I am subjected to kicks and groans.
ReplyDeleteI can't get up unless I snooze!! I have to snooze for at least 45- 1 hr. Totally terrible I know! But terrible most of all for my fiance who gets up after me! whoops! Anyways, I'm a new follower and love your blog! Keep on snoozin girl!
