Life Lately

Happy Hump Day! June has been so good to us (knock on wood) and we're gotten to enjoy so much sunshine and time outside!

We took the kids to the zoo this weekend. We decided on The Maryland Zoo, even though we love the National Zoo in DC, because it's smaller, less crowded and much more manageable.  They absolutely loved it.  We've been reading Dear Zoo and Goodnight Zoo (two favorites!) for a few months now and Miller has been begging to go so we decided at the last minute to go on Saturday.  (Ironic I know with all the Gorilla drama last week but FYI no Gorillas at the Maryland Zoo ;)

After the zoo and naps we went to the pool for a little bit, had pizza and put the kids to bed so Kyle and I could enjoy some drinks out on the deck.  Another reason I love summer.  Nothing better than drinking outside.

Sunday we had my nephew Jameson's baptism and Kyle and I were the godparents.  I wish I had taken more pictures but between church and so many people I just didn't get around too it. Not even one of my boys all dressed up!

After the service we went back to my parents house for a little party and early dinner. Of course the kids were in the pool as fast as possible.

We're going out for my girlfriend's birthday later this month and I cannot wait to wear it!  The dress is lined (yay!!) and it's a heavy thicker material so it can be easily dressed up or down.  There is a ton of fabric so I would suggest sizing down.  

As I mentioned we've been enjoying tons of time outside and at the pool.  The kids cannot get enough and I love how much happier we all seem to be outside.  

Miller didn't wet his pants he voluntarily dumped water down the front of himself over and over ;) #boys
