Since I'm awful at making decisions I've rounded up my favorites and would love to hear what you all think.

I go back and forth between wanting a small bag or a big tote bag. I've had the Madewell transport tote, Annabel Ingall tote, and Cuyana bag on my wish list forever so maybe I will finally pull the trigger on one of those. The Gucci one is a total of a splurge but Gucci leather is so gorgeous and it is probably a bag I'll have forever (I just need to convince Kyle with that price tag). I always love J.Crew's bags and own a few plus their prices with sales are always awesome. Then I saw that Botkier one and fell in love but I'm afraid it's not as classic and I might tire of it easily. My sister has the Gigi NY Olivia shopper and it's gorgeous in person and a good hobo/tote combo since the bottom is structured. Then I still love all the other ones I listed too. See I told you I was indecisive!

Hard decision!! I like the 4th on top / 2nd in the middle row / and last on 3rd row.... they're all gorgeous though!
ReplyDeleteI love ALL of them!!! I have a small cross body bag in this color and I love it. Sometimes I wish it was bigger to hold more stuff, but most of the time its perfect. Good luck with your decision--that's a tough one!

ReplyDeleteI got the Madewell transport tote for my birthday and I love it (I use it for work). The only thing is that it doesn't close at the top, so there is the potential to dump everything everywhere...but so far, so good!

ReplyDeletethey are all beautiful but i'm really partial to the gigi tote! great color, size, and structure (plus how cute would your initials look embossed in gold on it?). i just received a crossbody from gigi and it's such great quality!

ReplyDeleteNice choices! I was always a small (wristlet small) purse girl up until I didn't need to carry a diaper/kid bag (around the time my son turned 4-5). After that I've found having a medium-large size purse has worked well as I'm almost always, even still, toting around a few things for my son- water bottle, ipod, an extra layer, etc. So.... if you're looking for a bag that you'll have and will be useful for many years to come, it might be wise to think about going the larger route so after you retire the diaper/kid bag you can still tote around everything you'll need for yourself and the boys. Lots of good options there though!

ReplyDeleteA nice, brown leather handbag is a staple (and mine is looking a bit worn so maybe I should start looking too!). I love the Botkier and Annabelle Ingall one. Tough decisions!!

ReplyDeleteI've had my Cuyana tote for almost 2 years now and it's held up so well. It still looks pretty much brand new. Even the embossing on the front looks great. So I would say get a Cuyana tote! I only buy brown bags so this round up makes me so happy!

I have the Marc Jacobs bag in a colbalt blue color and I LOVE it! The leather is so soft and it's so easy to carry! I like the pop of color it gives to my drab outfits these days too :)

ReplyDeleteSeems you and I have something in common! I'm also a handbag addict and I'm always telling myself "next season, I'm investing in a decent BROWN leather bag!" But I never get around to it! (Black bags and even more colorful bags seem to always catch my eye). I've also been eyeing the Madewell Transport Tote and the MK Selma. *sigh* but they're all beautiful. Whenever you make that investment (*cough possible splurge) I can't wait to read about it!

I've always wanted a transport tote! But I'm messy so I need to grow up a little (and my kids do too). I know I'd spill water or sippy contents and it's not lined. It just such a classic look though - it's hard for me to compare the others :) Is the Cuyana lined? It is a great match!
