Here are some things I'm loving this week:
I have become obsessed with the artist Michelle Armas and I'm dying to add a piece of her artwork to our house. Thanks to One Kings Lane I can get a print on canvas that is more affordable then the original artwork. The print above would work perfect in our master bedroom and Kyle approves of it so it's a win. She has a ton of fun pink, purple girly ones that would be perfect in a little girls room or girly home office.
{LuLu's}
Somehow I have just discovered LuLu's
over the last few weeks! I have yet to actually order anything but so far the dresses are so cute and the prices are awesome!! $40 for a dress- sold! Does anyone shop there? How's the sizing? Here are some items I'm loving.

I pinned these from Sugardish the other day and I can't stop thinking about them. Don't they look so good?! A healthier version of my favorite buffalo chicken sandwich.
{Adding Color and Pattern}
I've also been so much of a boring beige, simple decorator around the house.(I blame it on being a real estate agent and wanting everything to be staged to sell.) So now I'm trying to add some more color and pattern into our house and brighten it up. Here are some pictures I've been looking at to get inspired.
And then I see this image and again and think maybe I don't need color...
So what are you loving this week?

ReplyDeleteI love the painting! I also think that first dress would be perfect for a baptism too :) I am allll about color!
ReplyDeleteI have that piece by Michelle Armas and LOVE it!! We got it to hang in our living room- definitely my fav!
ReplyDeleteI love Lulu's! The sizing is all over the place because they're all different brands. Ark runs pretty true to size, but I always read the reviews and details because literally there is no rhyme or reason to fit there. I am a greigeaholic and need to start getting some color up in here. Pillows and blankets are where its at! Hope you have a great weekend and stay warm!
ReplyDeleteThat painting and those pillows in the first inspiration picture! LOVE!!
ReplyDeleteI haven't bought anything from Lulu's in probably 4 or 5 years but my recollection is really poor quality and I would only suggest getting trendy pieces that you may giveaway after a season or two. Maybe it's changed though... Those buffalo chicken wraps have my mouth watering and the lettuce wraps totally cancel out the fried chicken! I love that :)
ReplyDeleteI love that art piece! I will have to check out the rest of her work. Good idea about getting it printed on a canvas from One Kings Lane. Those buff lettuce wraps look so good! Stay warm! Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteI need to make those lettuce wraps asap - they sound amazing!! I love that piece - hope you snag one from One Kings Lane!! xo, Biana - BlovedBoston

I think you totally need a black and gold room AND a colorful/mixed pattern room. You've got all that space to play with ;) Love the clothing picks and especially those shift dresses! Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteColor or neutrals, color or neutrals? How will you ever decide? Love both. And now I'm drooling over those lettuce wraps.
ReplyDeleteI am loving your inspiration for a pop of color in your rooms!!
