Today I have Amanda from Kids and Cabernet! Amanda is an adorable mom of two who shares so many of my similar interests, fashion, wine, home decor, wine, DIYs, wine. I think you get it ;) In all seriousness though wait until you see her dining room below. It's so good! Thanks again to Amanda for helping me out and make sure to stop by her blog and say hi and get some new wine recs from her monthly wine link up!
Hi East Coast Chic readers, my name is Amanda and I blog at Kids and Cabernet. I blog about life happenings, life as a mom, DIY's, home decor, fashion, wine, and share my favorite recipes. I'm so excited to be posting for Natalie while she enjoys time with her new baby boy and adjusts to life with two, I've been there - such an exciting time!
We moved into our house three years ago and I'm just feeling like we're getting our house the way we want it. It takes so long to get everything just so. My favorite room so far will have to be our dining room. It's where we gather as a family at the end of the day and where we share good times with our friends and family.
I love the dining room mostly because of the natural light that comes in, it is such a bright and light room. I feel like it reflects my personality so well. It's casual, but elegant and has my love for wine evident with little details throughout.
I love my little wine corner - my shadowbox filled of wine corks, my sign one of my good friends got me, and our old rake filled with glasses. There are also a couple of vases that I love from West Elm, and one of my favorite plates that my aunt bought me years ago on a trip to Mexico.
And another part that I love? This cabinet we got at Home Goods. It's one of my favorite pieces of furniture in the house and it's filled with one of my favorite things: wine! Beautiful piece of furniture + wine = winning!
