I'm not going to lie the past few days have been really hard. I had plans on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and I spent a lot of time in my closet hating everything that I tried on. I wanted desperately to run out and buy something but I stayed strong and made it work. It also didn't help that 1.) the temperatures dropped this weekend and I haven't pull out all my fall/winter clothes yet so I was grasping to make some outfits work and 2.) I'm super big and pregnant so nothing really looks "cute" anymore.
Here are some of my outfits from the last week:
Monday 9/8:
Dress: White House Black Market (super old)// Shoes: Tory Burch (old) similar here // Necklace: Charming Charlie (old) // Watch: Michael Kors// Bracelets: Forever 21
Wednesday 9/10:
Top: Puella Swing Tunic from Anthorpologie // Shorts: A Pea in the Pod // Shoes: Tory Burch (old) similar here
Friday 9/12:
Dress: Tarte Maxi (old, not maternity) // Jean Jacket: Abercrombie & Fitch (super old) //Scarf: Lilly Pulitzer Murfee Scarf (old print) similar here
Saturday 9/13:
Dress: Target (not maternity) //Jean Jacket: Abercrombie & Fitch (super old)
Sunday 9/14:
Top: Lush from Norstrom (old, not maternity) //Pants: Gap Maternity //Shoes: Via Spiga (old)
So that's where we stand with 15 days down and 15 more to go! Like I said the challenge is getting harder but it feels good to not be spending any money this month.
How are you all doing on your challenge? Anyone else find this weekend hard?

I am totally inspired to do that and although I'm starting halfway through the month, I am starting today! I want to try to wear more of the clothes I already own and save my money for my new home instead of just my closet :) Thanks for the inspiration! I know I will probably end up staring at my closet several mornings wishing I could just go buy something new!
ReplyDeleteGirl, I love all of the outfits that you have put together! No one would even know that you're struggling - you look awesome!
ReplyDeleteSO many cute looks. Love you get to pull out the jean jacket, too. It's always a great go-to once the weather cools down (hallelujah!).
ReplyDeleteI am so impressed you are pulling this off while preggers! I love seeing everyone's outfits on IG! I am at that point where my pants don't fit so I had to break down and buy some maternity things. I have an outfit exactly like that last picture though, love it with that cobalt top!
ReplyDeletei love that tunic!! so cute. xo jillian - cornflake dreams
ReplyDeleteYou truly look adorable in all those outfits!! I have to say that I love you in the blue sleeveless top and those capris. Maybe its the heels but you just look so put together and adorable!! I always gave up heels when I was pregnant :)
ReplyDeleteYou are so cute! I love those Maxi's with the Denim Jacket, so stylish. I also love that scarf you were wearing!
ReplyDeleteYou look SO cute! It's been so easy during the week because it has been all workout pants, but the weekends are definitely hard because I am so over all of my last year's fall stuff. I have a shopping list ready for October ;) But I am going to try to stick to a specific budget. Thanks for all of the inspiration girl!
ReplyDeleteYou look so precious! I love the Sunday outfit. You probably didn't pick the best time to do a closet remix but I'm sure it helps that you have clothes from being pregnant before.
ReplyDeleteYou are doing such a great job!! I feel like I do this challenge at work all the time - it's my weekend clothes that I need to be better about!
ReplyDeleteyou're looking so great!! love that target dress on you!!
