I decided that I wanted to go back and share with you all our full experience with the renovation and let you know what I learned about renovating in the process. To be honest the whole process was very much hurry up and wait. We did a lot of initial work (that took about 4 weeks of back and forth), then waited 6+ weeks and then boom we had to have everything picked out really fast. It was very overwhelming. I love the group that we worked with and think they did an incredible job on the kitchen but they lacked in administrative skills and didn't do the best communicating about dates for certain things. They're still a relatively young shop so I don't blame them for that, it just didn't work well with my control freak personality.
In the meantime since I left you hanging for so long I figured I would share some pictures of the completed space! We still are not completely finished with the decorating so it looks a little sparse and sterlie but we're slowing working adding things here and there.
If you're new here you can read about the beginning of our kitchen renovation here and here.
These pictures were taken with my iphone. I am hoping when we're finally finished I can have my sister take some pictures with her nice camera. So I apologize for the lightening being off in some of these.
What we still need:
-bar stools
-art work
-drapes/valances
-rugs
-decor/knick knacks
Feel free to ask any questions you have about anything you see or any questions about the renovation process. I will definitely be doing a post about all of our sources and how we went about choosing everything.
