Tomorrow is my birthday! I am turning the big 3-2. Woohoo. I not usually a big birthday person but I think because I was pregnant and still not feeling that well last year on my birthday I'm excited to celebrate this year. Plus I have a pretty awesome new little guy to spend it with.
1. Birthday Donut- my only real request from my husband was to have donuts for my birthday breakfast. I haven't had donuts in awhile and I think they're totally appropriate to consume as a birthday treat. I really want them from this local bakery that we have in Annapolis that has the most deliciuos donuts ever, but I will also take Dunkin Donuts. I kind of want to try the Valentine's day ones.
2. Birthday Dinner- We don't have any crazy plans we're just going to have an early dinner with my family at the Annapolis Yacht Club. I am so excited because they have the best food in Annapolis (in my opinion) and I can't wait to just eat up. (you know calories don't count on your birthday ;)
3. A Much Needed Pedicure- I did also request to sneak out of house this weekend to get a pedicure. Before I had Miller I used to get these every 1-2 weeks and now I'm lucky if I go every other month so I'm looking forward to a foot massage and some alone time.
4. Hunter Rain Boots- did you all know that I still don't have a pair of Hunters wellies?! Ahhh can you believe it. Hahaha. I feel like I never knew about rain boots and then suddenly they were everywhere. At first I didn't get the hype but with how wet and gross this winter has been I've decided that I need a pair. I am leaning toward the black or maybe the red.
5. Gigi New York Mini Taylor Bag- I asked you all for some advice on which new bag to get for my birthday and I've decided to treat myself to the Mini Taylor bag. I'm lucky enough to have some money and gift cards I can use so it will be a steal.
And lastly I'm just excited to spend my weekend hanging out with my family and this guy...
He tries his hardest to climb out of the cart whenever I turn my back... he's only 7 months old!! Is this a boy thing?? He never ever stops moving.
Hope you all have a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteAny woman that lives in a place that gets lots of snow deserves a pair of Hunters! I've gotten lots of wear out of mine.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your donuts and happy early bday!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, NAT! Sounds like you have the perfect birthday weekend planned out. Enjoy those donuts! :)
ReplyDeleteHave the best birthday mamma!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday!! I was thinking about you the other day, Gigi has 50% off all fall items! I remembered you wanted a Gigi bag! Enjoy your bday weekend!
ReplyDeleteHappy Early Birthday! Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday!!!!
ReplyDeleteI am right there with you on your top five. I love love love love love me some donuts-- almost as much as I love love love love me some cupcakes. Your yacht club event sounds fab. And your pedicure makes me jealous (since I am in the same boat post baby). And I too agree I might have to splurge for some wellies. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy early birthday! A donut sounds delicious right now. I have red hunters and love them. However, they are NOT for the cold if you're going to be out for awhile. Even with the socks I swear the suck up the cold air and direct it to your feet.
ReplyDeleteHappy almost Birthday!! The wellies are a great investment, California is in a drought but we are expecting lots of rain this weekend. I can't wait to really break them in!
ReplyDeleteHappy early Birthday!! I just got Hunter Boots and I LOVE them- definitely worth it. Can't wait to hear how you like the Gigi NY bag...its gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful, WONDERFUL birthday my friend!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday!!! Those donuts look so good. I normally don't like them that much, but the cookie dough look amazing. So sad that I can't have them because I'm g-free, but that might not be such a bad thing ; ) I hope you have a great weekend!!!
ReplyDeleteps - I have a pair of the navy gloss hunters and I love them! They are the perfect rain/snow boot IMO. Not the warmest in the snow, but a pair of heavy socks or liner fixes that!
You can't go wrong with the Hunter boots. I just got mine around Christmas and seriously can't imagine going this winter without them. It's worth every dollar I promise!
ReplyDeleteYumm donuts on your birthday are absolutely necessary! Those pics of Miller trying to climb out of the cart are TOO cute! He's such a big boy! I feel like I was just reading about your newborn necessities! Where does the time go??
ReplyDeleteOh and Happy Birthday Duhh!!!! Have a cocktail or 2 or 3... ! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! and you definitely can't go wrong with Hunters. With the crazy weather we've been having lately, I've been wearing them more than ever!
ReplyDeleteStopping by from the link-up!
xo A Southern Style
I got my black hunters at the Rack in Annapolis. They had a bunch last year.
ReplyDeleteHappy happy birthday!!!
ReplyDeleteHope you had a wonderful Birthday!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI just love love love the Annapolis Yacht Club. We went back in October with my father in law and Tim's brothers (his dad and one brother are members) and their food - delicious. I love the Caesar salads!!!
As for the Hunter Boots - I bought a pair (after I snagged my Sperry rain boots and left irreparable) and absolutely LOVE them. I have the black shiny ones and they are awesome. I did buy a pair of red ones b/c I've always wanted colored ones. I sent them back. I like them on other people, but felt they looked ridiculous on me (in my head at least).
Carlsons - Tim's favorite.....now I want to come up for a visit and eat at all our favorites!!!!
Visiting from he link up. Your son is so adorable!
